Retail store를 구축하는 데 있어서 가장 중요한 것은 무엇일까? Apple Store는 미국에서 가장 성공적인 Retail store이다. Apple Store는 1 square foot 당 연간 $4,032를 벌어들인다.(이것은 미국 최고의 전자기기스토어인 BestBuy의 4배가 넘는 수치다) 비결을 알고 싶다면 Apple Store를 만든 당사자인 Ron Johnson의 이야기를 곱씹어보길 바란다.

그가 강조하고 있는 ‘근본적으로 새로운 고객가치 창출하기(to create fundamentally new types of value for customers)’는 제네시스브랜딩이 늘 강조하는 Concept Creation의 다른 말이다.
